Like his Grandfather, Eddie Bauer, Eddie's Father was not only an outdoors man, he was also a race car driver. He was tragically killed in a fiery car crash when Eddie was young. His Mother collected the life insurance money and ran off with her Mexican lover leaving Eddie, his two sisters and his younger brother to be raised by their alcoholic Aunt.

Eddie learned early in life how to be successful at whatever he did. He worked three separate jobs while putting himself through law school. In fact, he was successful enough that he was later offered a gig at MIT to practice Babylonian mathematics; a gig that he decided was not right for him at that stage of his life.

Soon after, Eddie married his first wife and together they had two great kids, Eddie Bauer, III and Paula Louise Bauer. They named Paula in honor of his brother Paul, who was killed in a drunk driving accident in which Eddie was driving. Not long after the kids were born, his wife unexpectedly died of a drug overdose and he was left alone to raise two year old Paula and six month old Eddie.

After eight fulfilling years of being a single Dad, Eddie was fortunate enough to run into his former high school sweetheart, Barbara. The love, mutual respect and chemistry were there and within three days they got married. The two of them have been inseparable ever since.

Eddie began acting at the age of 40 and a year later took it upon himself to write an autobiographical screenplay based on the life-changing experience he was forced to endure because of issues that became almost overpowering. At first, it started out simply as another phase of his overall healing process but he later converted the story into a powerful full blown screenplay.

Eddie's screenplay, Casa Del Agua, has became an official selection of the Surge Film and Music Festival, The Trinity Film Festival, The Bare Bones international Film and Music Festival. Casa del Agua also was nominated for a Remi award at Worldfest 2012, made the Semi Final cut at The Vail Film Festival as well as the VIP List at the Gimme A Break Film Festival. It has recently been adopted by Oscar nominated producer Mr. George Tirl and together they are forging ahead with further development of the script and making plans for a full blown screenplay production.

Eddie considers himself truly blessed and he's thankful for all of his life experiences. They are what has shaped him and made him who and what he is today.
