OFFICIAL Eddie Bauer Jr - Screenplay Competition

Many screenplay competitions I signed up for in the past offered nothing more than a certificate, a pat on the back, and maybe a mention on their web site. Our competition is very different in this regard. Our competition gets your work SEEN so it will be given a chance at moving from paper to screen. If chosen one of the top five in its category, your screenplay script will be sent to my personal manager, my agent with a personal request from me, Eddie Bauer Jr, to please read, consider and give feed back as to whether they feel it has the same promise that our judges and readers did. My PR firm will put out a national press release promoting YOU as a finalist.

As a writer who has drudged the road of endless phone calls and emails while putting on the industry accepted dog and pony shows, I know the frustration of trying to get a screenplay in front of the "right people" to get considered for production. Having gone down that road successfully, my goal now is to help as many writers as I can to skip the smoke and mirrors and go straight to the managers and agents that will help you option and/or sell your hard work.

After taking massive action to get my foot in the door of some of the principals, those that can make the dream of being a producing writer a reality, I wanted to help other struggling and frustrated writers accomplish the same thing. Having been fortunate enough to make connections with people who pull the strings, I decided to start this competition to reach out further to help a broader number of writers to get their work in front of those that have been kind enough to look at and consider my work.
